Perfect for 1/48 planes in the office

Unlike the other reviewer, it was pretty evident to me that this isn’t a one-size-fits-all display case; even the picture on the box shows that. I recognise that I’ll never get my 1/48 B-17 in it (obviously), but all of my single-engine, and a few twin-engine, 1/48 WW2 aircraft fit perfectly. I presently own four, and will be getting more, since I hate attempting to remove dust from some of my more intricately elaborated aircraft. Just be careful: Since it is brittle, clear plastic, you may crack it reasonably effortlessly if you handle it too roughly.

Works as advertised

I’ve got this IMEX case and it is what I was expecting for the price. It is not plexi-glass. Instead, it is plastic but it a very clear plastic. I’ve seen similar cases in plexi-glass for a lot more $$ than this. I use these cases to keep those intricate and elaborated models dust free. Apparently the former poster failed to have in mind that not all 1/48 models are the same size and this applies for any scale. Yes, IMEX ought to specify it fits SOME or MOST 1/48 scale models, but hey Model Builder, the dimensions are right along the item description, so don’t blame any individual but yourself.

Perfect

Previous reviews were helpful. Need to look at dimensions of the display. Not all 1:48 planes will fit (i.e. F-14), but littler planes (i.e. F-16, F-104) fit perfect. Display have mold indents in the center of the top.
